I can't open Library, it prompted message "Oops! Library missed" after I open it

If you open Eagle and it prompted the error message "Oops! Library missed", as shown below:

To solve this problem, first, go to the directory path that the library is originally saved, and check what went wrong. You can find the library path in the message:

The followings are the possible causes and solutions to them:

  1. The path of the library is changed
    You may have accidentally moved or renamed the library recently. Please search for the name or the keyword ".library" through the device, after finding the new path, relocate Eagle library to the new pass to address the issue.
  2. Deleted library by mistake
    If you can't find any file that related to ".library", it could be deleted by mistake. This often occurs when the user saves the library on the desktop, if you encounter this, please try to retrieve the files in the recycle bin.
  3. Use a third-party sync tool, but the synchronization is not complete
    If you use the sync tool (e.g. iCloud, OneDrive, Dropbox) and you are sure that the library path is correct, this could be because the core data file of Eagle is not completely synced yet. Please make sure that the syncing progress is completed first.

If you have found the library location or restored the library that has been deleted accidentally, you can reopen it in the following ways:

  1. Click the "Import Library" button on the right
  2. After selecting the library path, click the open button
