Sync Eagle libary with external hard drive”
If you want to sync your Eagle libraries across multiple devices, you can use the "External Hard Drive" to achieve it. The operation is very simple, you only need to move the Eagle library from the device to the external hard drive. Following the below steps to set up.
Remark: You don't need to install Eagle in the external hard drive, you only need to move the library to the external hard drive.
Step 1: Connect to the external hard drive
Insert the external hard drive you want to use and open the corresponding hard drive path
Make sure that the external hard drive is capable of writing
Step 2: Find the current library path
Open the current Eagle library path, usually, end in ".library". If you can't find the path, you can check it in the menu of "Library".
Step3: Move the library to the external hard drive
Move the Eagle library to the external hard drive by copying and pasting or dragging and dropping. If you want to keep the original library, you can use the copy and paste method.
Step4: Reload the library
(Use the same method to load the library in other devices)
Back to Eagle, click "Library" > "Switch Library" and select the new library
