I can't open Eagle, it shows prompt message "A JavaScript error occurred in the main process"

This problem may be caused by incomplete software installation. We can solve this problem by forcibly removing the cache file on the system. Please refer to the following steps to fix it: 


macOS Solution

  1. Close Eagle
  2. Open Finder and click the menu "Go" > "Go to Folder...".
  3. Paste path "~/Library/Application Support/"(must start with ~) and click "Go".
  4. Delete the "Eagle" folder.
  5. Restart Eagle to see if the problem is solved.

Windows Solution:

  1. Close Eagle.
  2. Click the Win button in the lower-left corner, search for %appdata%.
  3. Delete the "Eagle" folder.
  4. Restart Eagle to see if the problem is solved.
