Video to GIF converter
In the early days of limited internet bandwidth, GIFs were essential elements for showcasing technology and enhancing web pages. Since they can play dynamic content without needing scripts or additional plugins, developers often chose to use GIFs. Today, GIFs load and play quickly on most social platforms, making interactions more enjoyable. Therefore, if you want to convert your favorite video clips into GIFs, we recommend using this plugin. This plugin supports various (but not limited to) video formats such as 3gp, avi, flv, hevc, mkv, mov, mp4, wmv. Here are the steps for the 'Video to GIF Converter' plugin:
- In Eagle version 4.0 and later, you can find more useful plugin features in the "Plugin Center", and the installation method can be referenced in this article How to install plugins?
- Use the search box in the left sidebar to search or navigate to the category "Converter" > "Video to GIF Converter", then click to install and download.
- Before installing the "Video to GIF Converter" plugin, you need to install the "FFmpeg" format extension. If not yet installed, Eagle will prompt you and guide you to the installation page. After completion, return to install the "Video to GIF Converter" plugin.
- Select the video you want to convert to GIF, right-click to open the menu, and find "Plugin" > "Video to GIF Converter"; or select the video and use the shortcut key P to open the plugin panel.
- In the lower-left corner of the plugin panel, you can set FPS, quality, and width. After setting, you can choose to replace the original video with the GIF or save it as a separate GIF file.
- Done.
